On Abandonment

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood. I took it personally but (as it turns out) it had nothing to do with me.

  1. Thanks Jackie. It was sort of a simple thought that occured to me but really that’s all there is to it isn’t it? We travel a path with people for a while but when they or we leave it’s not a comment on our worth. Of course, this is an incredibly difficult thing for a child to understand. But that’s our healing work as adults I suppose. Arriving at that realization and being able to live it.
