is a window
to the gods.

When it opens
we feel exalted.

When it closes
there is darkness

seeking an immutable
pinpoint of light.

  1. I love this series of poems in which I perceive a brilliant ambivalence which prompts me to ask a personal question. Are you rejoicing over a new love or regretting an old one? Or both for that matter. You leave me wondering, which is a wonderful effect.

    • Hi Hunter,

So nice to get a comment from you again. I am rejoicing over and regretting an old love, one recently lost that I am having a hell of a time getting over. This person has come and gone from my life before and he’s one I never quite do get over. Thanks for your wonderful comment.
