  1. I can’t remember exactly what my conscious intent was. But I do believe I was influenced by an interpretation of the cross a Christian faith healer once explained to me. He said the intersection of the horizontal (temporal) and vertical (divine) is the present moment which is where all true healing occurs. Also, I think there is some inherent tension in the idea of the cross at least for me and my arm movements naturally went in that direction as I expressed the battle within me.

    And yes…I think the battle between good and evil (dark and light, consciousness and unconsciousness) is an inherently spiritual one. If you subscribe to a particular faith or dogma then I think it becomes a religious one.
